Scabies Treatment Via Herbal Means

Neem oil is likely the best product available for treating psoriasis. Topical treatments of neem moisturizes and protects the skin while healing the irritation, scaling and sores. Taking neem leaf orally, along with topical treatment of neem extracts and neem seed oil, seem to be at least as effective as more well known treatments such as coal tar and cortisone in treating psoriasis. Coal tar products smell very bad and are messy to use, and cortisone can make the skin thin with normal use. Neem does not do any of this.

Neem relives pain and inflammation. Neem oil is an important constituent of different ointments. Neem oil is also useful in treating ring worm, lice, scabies and athletes foot.

Because of its anti-worm properties, furniture is often made from neem wood. In Africa, neem is used to help prevent insect infestation in crops. Modern research has found that neem may be useful as a spermicide and the seed oil has been used for many years as a contraceptive. Neem is also known as the bead tree as the nuts on the tree were used as rosary beads for centuries.

Neem is a special Indian plant. It is famous for its medicinal values. In India, the neem tree is considered sacred and worshiped. It is easy to find neem trees everywhere in the country, so much so that it is considered the free tree of India. The English name for neem is Margosa. The botanical name of neem tree is Azadirachta indica.

So if Neem is so great, why doesn't every insect repellent use it? That is an excellent question. And the answer probably won't surprise you. There are chemicals available for much cheaper, that will kill bugs on contact, and that's exactly what most businesses do. The downside to these newer chemicals? They are not at all natural, and certainly not the safest solution out there. Not by a long shot.

Fruit helps in relieving piles, eliminate intestinal worms, treat urinary disorder, epistaxis, expel phlegm, cure eye problems, diabetes, wounds and leprosy.

Neem twigs are used in the cure of cough, asthma, hemorrhoids, intestinal worms, obstinate urinary disorder, and diabetes.

Turmeric powder and neem oil together is also good combination for acne treatment. You can also crush a few neem leaves to make a paste to which you add a tsp of turmeric powder. Apply it over acne inflammation spots. Both have antiseptic properties and helps in controlling inflammation.

On the other hand the neem tree is held in high esteem for its utility in other respects. Its leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds etc are having a medicinal value and the wood of the tree serve as a building material. In fact, Neem tree has much to do with the Ayurvedic or Siddha medicine or in other words known as Indian Medicine. Neem tree is also useful in making cosmetic soaps. In fact at the International level, a dispute over the patent rights of products from neem tree is also on the card.
